1. Who we are
Campulse.io is a school management and teaching platform operated from Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
2. Who controls the data
This distinction matters, because it decides who you ask for what.
Your school is the controller. It decides which students and staff are entered, what is recorded about them, who on its staff can see it, and when it is deleted. Campulse is the processor. We store and process that information on the school's instructions and nothing more.
If you are a parent or a teacher and you want something corrected or removed, ask your school first. They can do it themselves in minutes. If they cannot, we will help them.
3. What is stored

Children's information
Most of what Campulse holds is about children, and that carries obligations we take seriously:
- Student photographs are stored outside the public web and served only to a signed-in member of that school. They are never at a guessable address.
- A parent signing in with their CNIC sees only the children registered against that CNIC.
- A teacher sees the classes she is responsible for.
- Report cards, syllabus and holiday work reach a parent only when the school releases them for that specific child.
- We do not build profiles of children, sell their information, or use it for advertising.
4. Artificial intelligence
Several tools draft lesson plans, worksheets, question papers and report remarks. To do that, the text a teacher enters is sent to a third-party AI provider, processed, and the result returned.
- Send the minimum. A report remark can be generated from ratings without a child's full name.
- Our AI provider does not use this content to train its models.
- AI drafts are drafts. A teacher or principal reads and approves everything before it reaches a parent. Nothing is published automatically.
5. Who can see what
Access follows the role your school gives you. Broadly: a teacher sees her own classes; a principal and QAC see the school; the accounts office sees fees, payroll and what has been released to parents; a parent sees their own child.
Within Campulse, access to a school's data is limited to the few people who need it to run and support the service. We do not browse your records.
6. Who else is involved

Servers may be located outside Pakistan. By using Campulse your school agrees to that transfer.
7. How long it is kept
- Student and staff records: for as long as the school keeps its account, plus 90 days after it closes, so a school that leaves and returns does not lose a year of work.
- Attendance, reports and pay records: kept as the school's own records, because a school may need to answer a question about a past year.
- Deleted items: a record removed by the school is hidden immediately and cleared within 90 days.
- Sign-in logs: 12 months.
A school may ask us to delete everything. We do it within 30 days, except where a law requires us to keep something longer.
8. Keeping it safe
- Traffic is encrypted. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form.
- Each school is separated from every other school in the database.
- Uploaded files - photographs, fee receipts, syllabus PDFs - sit outside the public web and are served only after a sign-in check.
- Every change to a record carries the name of the person who made it.
No system is perfect. If information is exposed, we will tell the affected school without undue delay, describe what happened and what we are doing about it.
9. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. Parents may exercise these rights for their own children. Ask your school first - they hold the controls. If you cannot get an answer, write to us and we will work with the school to resolve it.
10. What we do not do
- We do not sell information to anyone, for any price.
- We do not show advertisements, and we do not let anyone pay to reach your parents.
- We do not use your students' or staff's data to train AI models.
- We do not share information with another school.
11. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email the school's administrator before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
